National Pizza Day – Feb. 8

More than 3 billion pizzas are sold in the USA each year, and I eat more than my share of them. An estimated one of every six restaurants in the U.S. are pizzerias. How will you celebrate? We couldn’t spot any special deals or Pizza Day bargains from local shops, but who cares? It’s well worth full price.

Where to go? MozzaPi, Lupo, the Post, and Coals are probably my current Louisville favorites, but I rarely met a pizza I didn’t like, except for the corporate chains. I would never say no to a pie from Old School NY Pizza, Boombozz, DiOrio’s, Charlestown Pizza Co., Danny Mac’s, Sal’s, Caffe Classico, Lou Lou Food + Drink, and many more. Go! Get your pizza on!
